Understand Your Rights

Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0  ·  Last updated: April 13, 2026  ·  Governing Law: England & Wales

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MOVEV App, the MOVEV EV charging network, and any related digital or physical services (collectively, the "Services") provided by MOVEV LTD ("MOVEV," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in England and Wales.

By downloading the MOVEV App, creating an account, or using any charging station in the MOVEV network, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

1. Who We Are

Company: MOVEV LTD

Registered in: England and Wales

Operational base: Reading, United Kingdom

Active markets: United Kingdom, Denmark, Spain

Contact: app@movev.app

MOVEV operates a vertically integrated fast EV charging network as a Charging Point Operator (CPO). MOVEV LTD is the entity responsible for the MOVEV App and network operations in the United Kingdom. In Denmark and Spain, charging sessions are operated by the respective local MOVEV entity, which acts as the electricity supplier and invoicing party for sessions in that country.

2. The MOVEV App

The MOVEV App ("App") is available free of charge on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The App allows you to:

  • Locate MOVEV charging stations

  • Start, manage, and end charging sessions

  • View real-time session data including energy delivered and cost

  • Access your charging history and invoices

  • Manage your account, payment methods, and preferences

  • Subscribe to membership plans

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your account with third parties. MOVEV reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be misused, shared, or involved in fraudulent activity.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use the MOVEV App and Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

  • Hold a valid payment method accepted by MOVEV

  • Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy

MOVEV may refuse to create an account or may terminate an existing account at its discretion if these conditions are not met or if there is evidence of misuse.

4. Charging Sessions

4.1 Starting a Session

Charging sessions can be initiated via the MOVEV App by scanning the QR code at the station, using a linked RFID card, or via Plug & Charge where available. Each session constitutes a separate transaction between you and MOVEV.

4.2 Pricing

Prices per kWh are displayed in the MOVEV App, on the station screen, and on our website at movev.eu. MOVEV reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. The price applicable at the time you initiate a session will be the price charged.

Where a membership plan is active, applicable discount rates will be applied automatically to each session.

4.3 Session Interruptions

MOVEV strives to maintain continuous availability of its charging network. However, charging sessions may be interrupted or fail to start due to:

  • Technical faults or maintenance

  • Power grid interruptions beyond our control

  • Force majeure events

  • Vehicle incompatibility or vehicle-side faults

MOVEV does not guarantee a specific charging speed or power output. Actual charging speed depends on vehicle capability, battery state, ambient temperature, and network load. MOVEV is not liable for any losses arising from session interruptions that are not attributable to MOVEV's direct fault.

5. Payment and Billing

By linking a payment method to your MOVEV account, you authorise MOVEV to charge you for each charging session at the applicable rate. Payment is processed via our certified, PCI-DSS compliant payment service provider.

If a payment fails due to insufficient funds, an expired card, or a blocked transaction:

  • MOVEV will notify you by email or in-app notification

  • Your account may be suspended until the outstanding balance is settled

  • MOVEV reserves the right to assign unpaid balances to a third-party collection service

  • Any reasonable collection costs may be passed on to you in accordance with applicable law

Invoices are issued for each charging session and are accessible through the App. MOVEV LTD issues invoices in GBP for UK sessions. Local MOVEV entities issue invoices in the applicable local currency for sessions in Denmark and Spain.

6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the MOVEV App and network solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Services for any commercial or resale purpose without written authorisation from MOVEV

  • Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt MOVEV network infrastructure or backend systems

  • Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes or to circumvent account suspensions

  • Use the App to transmit malicious code, spam, or any harmful content

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the MOVEV App

Violation of these provisions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and technology within the MOVEV App and network — including trademarks, logos, designs, and proprietary charging management systems — are the exclusive property of MOVEV LTD or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property law.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or licence to use MOVEV's intellectual property except as expressly permitted to use the App and Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. DOOH Advertising Network

MOVEV stations feature integrated Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising screens as part of our dual revenue model. These screens display third-party advertising content managed by MOVEV. By using our network:

  • You acknowledge the presence of advertising screens at MOVEV stations

  • No personal data from your charging session is shared with advertisers

  • MOVEV retains all rights over its DOOH inventory and advertising relationships

9. Liability and Disclaimers

9.1 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MOVEV's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to MOVEV in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9.2 Exclusions

MOVEV is not liable for:

  • Loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from service interruptions

  • Damage to your vehicle caused by factors outside MOVEV's direct control

  • Third-party services including payment processors, network operators, or location partners

  • Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits MOVEV's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

9.3 Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) or equivalent applicable consumer protection legislation in your country.

10. Changes to the Services and Terms
MOVEV may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via the App or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

MOVEV may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time. Where such changes materially affect your ability to use the Services, we will provide reasonable advance notice.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your MOVEV account at any time via the App or by emailing app@movev.app. Account deletion will take effect once all outstanding balances have been cleared. Termination of your account does not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to termination.

MOVEV may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or where required by law.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

For users in Denmark or Spain, mandatory local consumer protection provisions apply and are not overridden by this clause. MOVEV is committed to resolving disputes amicably and encourages customers to contact us at app@movev.app before initiating formal proceedings.

EU consumers may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MOVEV with respect to the Services.

  • No Waiver: MOVEV's failure to enforce any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right.

  • Assignment: MOVEV may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms without your consent in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights without MOVEV's prior written consent.
